What Was the Lamest Fashion Trend of 2011?
Lady Gaga was the first celeb to replace the classic french manicure with these pointy pieces of work. Now, stars like Rihanna and Beyonce have followed suit -- bringing stilettos to their fingertips.
From turquoise to fuchsia to Ronald McDonald red, stars like Nicki Minaj and Rihanna have rocked all sorts of colors on top of their heads this year. And evidently, it's the brighter, the better.
Christian Louboutin platform heels
Going for about $1K a pop, these super-high heels with the familiar red sole have been worn to death this year. Heck, celebrities like Beyonce and Victoria Beckham have even been caught sporting them while preggers!
Super skinny jeans
Don't get us wrong: we love ourselves a good skinny jean. But it seems like the already snug fit keeps getting smaller and smaller -- and we're beginning to get annoyed. Is it time to bring back the boot cut?
Royal Wedding hats
Big, bold hats have never quite gone away as far as fashion fads are concerned -- but the Royal Wedding this year was an excuse to take them out of the closet. Is it time to put them back?
It's been a pretty boisterous year as far as fashion fads go. And with celebrity trendsetters like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry, no one should be surprised that demure was not the word of the year when fashion was involved.
Nicki Minaj rocked fuschia and turquoise colored hair, Lady Gaga primped her paws to be as pointy as possible and no celebrity went anywhere without their red-soled, uber-expensive Christian Louboutin platform heels (not even the pregnant ones, like Beyonce and Victoria Beckham.)
But out of all the played-out fashion trends this year, we're curious to see which one you think was the most horrible of them all. Go through our slideshow for a quick reminder of all the ridiculous fashion fads of 2011 and then vote. Don't worry, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj will live through the criticism. It's something they need to hear.
