The first date: Exciting as it is, it's absolutely crucial when it comes to landing a second date... and a potential relationship. Therein lies the problem. After conducting a loose poll, How About We has come up with a list of things you should not do on a first date. Read on, and let us know which one is a total turn-off for you.

1. Licking Your Fingers
Table manners are key from the get-go!

2. Cellphone Dependency

"Not being able to put your cellphone down for more than 5 minutes at a time is a huge turn-off, especially when you’re supposed to be getting to know someone," How About We says. We couldn't agree more ... if he's not paying attention to you on day one, what's it going to be like in six months?

3. Burping
Sometimes nature calls ... but try your best to hold it in on the first date.

4. Grabbing Food Without Asking
The first date is a little too early to be sharing entrees. Or even appetizers.

5. Saying It and Spraying It
Getting spit on takes us back to junior high, when everyone had a metal mouth. Not very sexy.

6. Tipping Poorly

Do your best not to look like a cheapskate if you want to score a second date.

Most broads (99%) can't live without their cell phone, so most first dates are bad. I rather have her burp than talk on the phone, because at least we are talking and I would know that this chick is normal.

U should give members an option to choose more than one choice bcuz choice 2,3 & 5 r in my highest of high of first date turn offs but #6 (tipping poorly) is almost just as bad. It shows disrespect for low wage income workers especially if he/her didn't deserve it.

Turn off the phones on both sides. No check Up calls taken. thats rude. I hate it evevn in business,when I am talking to have someone cut me off,for a cell phone.

Plus Girls. If you think guys are rude for asking for sex on the first date,then do not drive the point by wearing something without a bra on. YOU should know that will drive the guy crazy & thinks he has a chance THAT NIght. That advertising. Had a few girl-fiends totally agree with me. Keep em covered on the first date,unles you want it to go that way.

Most men actually don't give a damn about any of those choices. All we are really interested in is the ass. And if we want it bad enough, we will tolerate any of those choices easily. Especially the licking of the fingers!!

Grabbing Food Without Asking

It makes me crazy upset when anyone grabs food off of my plate. It's like a mental switch that makes me see red. The rest of the stuff on the list I can get over, but this one is intolerable in my book.

Cellphone dependency is one that I hate most, I mean you asked me on a date, then pay attention to me at least. And tipping poorly, I mean if the service was junk then you'd have no real reason to leave a good tip, and grabbing food w/o asking, maybe he/she purposely asked for one appetizer for the both of you to share so he/she could "secretly/surprisingly" grab your hand. and licking fingers, and burping is cute if the guy encourages it and is just trying to make you laugh so the good times can keep rolling on. nothing wrong with it, unless you're at a very FORMAL restaurant, if that's the case, don't burp/ lick fingers. and saying and spraying it, hasn't happened to me and I haven't ever done it before so no real problem there unless the guy/girl is sloppy and you know it, then don't take them out to a really fancy place, just do a stay at home date or something.

2) clamming up, being silent, and not contributing any input
3) negativity, complaining, being grumpy, rude, or showing a bad mood
4) drama queen overreactions, fake laughter, etc.
5) everything that falls under poor appearance or bad odors
