Wine has been around since at least 4500 BC, and has played a major role in many civilizations, from the ancient Greeks who poured wine as libation to the gods, to Christianity, where the drink is used to represent the blood of Christ. Of course, wine is an alcoholic drink, so it's off limits to the under-aged and should be consumed in moderation, but as far as alcohol goes it's one your classier options.

Read the Bible:
Psalm 104 verses 14-15 «He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate —
bringing forth food from the earth:wine that gladdens the heart of man,
oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart.»
I sure do get excited!
In northern Brazil, the four seasons do not appear, here is winter and summer, becomes wine every day, more is better in the winter.
