Actually incorrect, Alabama has the highest reported with Alaska being the second. I'm from Kentucky and honestly have never anyone to have know, or ever engaged in any incestuous manner. in 1905 i could understand stereotypes holding a role in what people understand as being fact, but seeing as though its 2012, we now have the internet, with a wide array of information to unlock, it appears to be laziness and ignorance our crutch.

I think it's probably Alaska or West Virginia with most incest. Although there is a joke about my state Arkansas having more incest among brothers and sisters, it's not true. It's only a stereotype.

I also was born & raised in Arkansas and I grew up in a very backwoods rural area. I've known many incest people & theres tons of undereducated, completely reliable on the goverment people everywhere you go here. Its a beautiful state but ruined by backwoods hillbillies, prejuduce black people & overweight women who dont know what birth control is or keeping their kankles closed for that matter...

Its either backwoods, SCARY hillbillies OR ghetto, country black people who stand on the side of the road selling stolen crap & ask you for money.... Okay have you seen the movies Wrong Turn or Deliverance? Both suppose to be based in West Virginia..Honestly? Shouldve been here. My husband & I get holes stared through us anywhere we go here because were not 100lbs overweight or crack skinny, have 10 kids with a cigg hanging out of our mouths, wear mossy oak & suck deer dick, & we have all our teeth. Its amazing how behind things are here. Arkansas liturally froze in time after the Civil War...no joke.

Hey Smokey, I now have proof about people from West Virginia, I was scoping out this show called "True Love for Tila Tequila" on MTV, the show is about this woman who does not know id she is straight or a lesbian, so she has 8 men and 8 women in the house competing for her, and I just happen to catch the episode where this elementary teacher from W.VA, was on there, he had only been on the show for like 3 weeks I think, this boy has done fell madly in love with thois woman, and when he got voted off, this guy flipped out, he went totally crazy, proceeded to beat the crap out of the guy she choose to stay in the house with the rest. Boy this guy was scary. Makes me want to change my locks, lolol

Simmer down. Yes, it is all around; but here's a little news flash for you. It occurs among all classes of people, and just because you claim you don't about any doesn't mean it isn't there. Most victims are ashamed and secretive, act out in other ways. Only found out about a girl in our neighborhood years later after she left home and never came back. She was moody, accusatory, combative & lashed out and people at the drop of a hat. (Hmm, sounds ...) Learned more than I ever wanted on this subject in a former job relating to Family Court; cases and children spread around other parts of the country. Hope you can take a step back and find peace.
