What should we do with immigrants that marry women just to get a green card. What should we do with women that marry these guys knowingly. Some women are tricked.
I am not entirely sure, but this is what I do know:
"Marriage to a U.S. citizen alone does not grant you any immigration benefits. It will likely make you eligible for immigration benefits, but you must file the necessary paperwork with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in order to secure the right to remain in the United States. "
Women that do it deliberately are committing fraud and should go to prison.
The men imprisoned and then deported.
Those tricked are innocent and probably angry.
I think it's up to them, who they marry and why. If it turns out badly, they still have legal recourse available to all married couples. Except, he might get deported afterwards. :O)
