Faith. There are a lot of different Churches and Religions and
most claim they are the only true Christians.
Tell me about your Church and Beliefs....I have been to a lot

Atheist.... And I hate Organized Religions, because they all think they are "the one", when in actuality, they all have it wrong, as obviously they can't all be right!

I believe in God the Father Almighty... The key reason I like being a Methodist is that we think and let think, believe in Christ, and respect the religious beliefs of others. It is also not a sin to let your mind wander from time to time. We Methodists don't get fussy about lifestyle, dress, or personal opinions as long as we present a good example for Christ. With us, denomination is not important. All believers can go to heaven.

I tried them all except, Muslim, and do not want to try Muslim, because too many rules, and ground kissing. The last I was a Mormon, but after seeing Mormons like to use guns, I knew this is not Gods House. I am now just a Christian, who practices Religion at my Home. I call it My Home Religion. I believe in The Lord, and he does exist.

I felt a hand rest on my right showder just saying a prayer for Jesus to be with me cause I could not make it on my own. My brother was dying he was my best friend also. I went to church as a kid I know Jesus is very real..

It is a very long story. I was following Native American ways. Got sick. Wasn't supposed to live. Had a vision of Jesus. Got healed by Jesus. Converted to being a Christian.
That's about as short as I can make it.

I need to point out I believe there is a complete difference between "religion" and Faith. To me religion is a creation of men to control men while faith is a creation of heart, mind and soul to help man rise above men to become more god-like. You can have faith without having religion (which really is little more than a doctroine of dogma which many can practice but never belive never really live. Faith on teh other hand is the freedom to let go and trust that what is meantto be, what is good and correct will come.

As to all that I was born into a strict catholic family and forced to practice until I was 17. I then explored several other religious practices and found that none suited me. I formally studied religion in an acidemic sence and used that o build more understadning about what place religion has in society and individualism. I now formally practice faith over religion and find great peace in it

    Wicca/pagan-

Although I label myself as Wicca, I take some of the religious views and morals of pagan.( yes I do realize that Wicca branches of pagan, but in the same respect they have taken on some of their own views/morals and practices.. Anyway) I choose my religion for the fact that it has opened my eyes and my heart, to many things that I can & cannot see. I find it a peaceful religion.. And devote myself to learning new things everyday and making amends with those of my Past.

It's not really accurate to have a "Catholic" answer choice and an entirely separate "Christian" answer choice. Catholics are Christians. So are Baptists and Lutherans.

Anyhow, I could go on at length and give lots of reasons why I'm Catholic ... but I'll sum it all up by saying that I truly believe the Catholic Church is the church founded by Jesus.

    See Matthew 16:13-19 for details.

I'm an agnostic atheist because so far, the evidence I have observed leaves me with no idea whether there is a creator deity or not, and the sky-daddy myths your list of usual suspects spout are riddled with contradictions, absurdities and tautologies.

Just spiritual. I know nothing, but look after my whole well-being, and try to do the same for the earth's.

Because actual religion leads the way to deviation and abuse. I'm not interested in being told what to think-- I'm interested in following a philosophy and doing what's right and good, and if that philosophy no longer applies, I will adjust it accordingly.

I think it is human nature to acknowledge some sort of higher power or some sort and since I walked away from the Roman Catholic Church and pretty much all organized religion (10 years ago).

I remain spiritual, but have abandoned religion, organized religion which is all man made.

I was raised Lutheran, my mother was the organist and my father was college buddies with the pastor...we were very active in the church. But I now look at religion as an extremely personal matter and can't stand when people here proselytize while simultaneously condemning others who don't share their particular brand of Christianity.
