WHAT OR WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST?

Is there a person in your life that gives you inspiration? Is it a particular cause? What or who has inspired you the most?
NOTE: There are so many polls on SH that divide people and I just want to change the
tide. You might find that you have more in common with people than you previously thought - whether it be a democrat, republican, libertarian, involved in Christianity, Scientology, Atheism, Muslims, Buddhism etc.

And Angel, don't ever again accuse me of being prejudiced against you because you're not a Christian. I never would have accepted your friend request if I was.
My scrape with you had to do with your selection of an offensive photo to represent MY religion. Never did I ever say anything bad about yours.
However, you accused me of being a liar and a hypocrite. You have insulted me. I think an apology on your end is also in order. (And for anyone reading this who does not know the history - the photo did not appear to be offensive unless you knew the artist and the origin which I had no way of knowing. I immediately apologized and had the photo removed.)
Moving on - It is a beautiful thing that you have a husband who has inspired you. My husband inspires me as do my children.
Especially when it takes "hours" to remove it, after the foul nature of the image is revealed to the poster.
It shouldn't take "hours." Minutes, if not seconds, is more like it. I'm sure you know where the "delete question" button is. It should have been used immediately.
We've been over this privately many many times - now please can we just move on?
It is time for apologies on both ends. It is time for us both to move forward. I was wrong and I do apologize.
Although they passed away many many years ago. the person I am today is because of the parents I had in my past.
If I live to be half the woman my Mom was, half as good of a parent and grandparent, I will be happy.
Nobody can take the place of my parents.
My dad was also very loving - but unfortunately he cheated on my mom with her best friend and my best friend's mother. It was very tragic for both families. Still, I never doubted that he loved me, and he had a great sense of humor. I take the plus points and try to incorporate them into my life.
I'm sure you are more than just half the woman you mom was, SA. Much more.
