Why do men complain they can't find any GOOD women ..
then turn around and look for their dates in trashy bars?
WHY do guys think that a GOOD Woman .. wants to be used as the guy's REPLACEMENT for his elderly MOMMA?

My son is single and never complains like that nor does he go looking in bars.
Sounds like maybe you met a few bad ones or something.
Why would you say something like that...just curious
why they can't find a good woman (yet, curiously enough .. they spend their time trolling the dive bars for their dates .. and don't even bother asking the single responsible females out .. )
I've observed this while not only serving in the Military ..
but also while with friends/family after my Military Retirement too ..
it is .. DUH GUYS .. you are looking in ALL the wrong places ..
I've had to deal with way, way too many of single males my age (and older too)
who have made a lot of wrong choices in their lives ..
have dealt with several ..
(while out in the Botanical Gardens, Museums, out hiking the trails)
who happen to try to 'chat me up' ..
and .. oh, my .. are they chatty indeed ..
some have had diarrhea of the mouth ..
can't stop themselves ..
they mentioned my vehicle .. notice my camera and lenses .. notice my Art supplies ..
(and I do go out and sketch too)
and .. curiously .. state that they are living with momma
(not too much concerned about that .. I help my elder relatives too)
but .. then they go on to tell me that it is because they've not worked in years and the reason they are with momma is they can't pay their rent, can't pay their bills ..
(and sadly enough .. even the ones that I've been set up o...

I am NOT .. repeat .. NOT .. going to date ANYONE who is looking solely for the easy life and REPLACEMENT for their Enabling MOMMAs!
(NOPE .. I am not your "sugar Momma" .. I am NOT 'desperate' .. I do NOT want your 'warm body' .. I am NOT INTERESTED in supporting you in the lifestyle you decided to be comfortable in living off your momma now for over 6 decades of life .. )

I can find and engage in conversation .. at a very quick pace .. many ..
love to speak on a lot of subjects indeed ..
(including having walked many a historical site .. love talking about them!)
YET .. when they get a whiff .. of the fact that I'm RETIRED Military ..
WHOOSH .. you can hear them swiftly running away ..
(even my sis-in-laws gave up on trying to set me up with their single male friends .. these guys see me as a 'threat' .. someone to compete with .. I'm not caring what they do .. just at least let the guys be a bit more confident in themselves and see strong women as REAL and Worthy )

(it is usually folded up when I enter a place and get familiar with the layout)
it still freaks out many when they realize ..
that I truly AM Blind now ..
(although .. most do not want the good women .. they deliberately set out for the trashy kind)
What too many of these guys don't realize ..
is that the good women .. do NOT want the drama .. the diseases .. after the guy has the 'fling' (or 'flings') ..
