We asked that of an employer interviewing 3 women for a job opening. 2 women had advanced degrees related to the job and a good past employment record; both have children. They were victims of the American economy. The 3rd lady was younger with less credentials but interviewed very well and certainly deserved a shot at the job. Single and no kids. What matters to you most? Which one do you hire??

You hire the one most qualified for the position. IF they appear equally qualified, you continue the interview process.
