A world where fairness exist and racism didn't would be ideal but not realistic!

Why is that not a realistic goal?

It's just too much to talk about but I would say listen to the rhetoric that's used toward the president, Muslims,etc.. Check out some of the legislation that's passed throughout many states that's anti-ethnic groups, check out the Senate in Washington lack of minorities, I could go on as relates to racism with more detailed and broader examples.

Many of us are fair minded people but a lot of the politicians that end up in Congress aren't and unfortunately much of their legislation reflects that. Many consider fairness to be looking solely after the rich and well connected, etc.. I will say that most fairness that we have now as it relates to the government is because of the left.

I agree but we must look to the future. Things have changed and they will continue to change.

We can do anything we set our mind to. Germany overcame Nazi Control, China overcame many hardships in it's lifetime. Hiroshima overcame the attacks by america,Mahatma Gandhi overcame many hardships in his lifetime to bring peace in India and the world. Same with Yi Shu-Shin, Fukushima, Nagasaki,Guangdong province, Sri Lanka etc. If they can overcome war,famine,death,and ignorance then so can the rest of us.

I want to live in a world, that is firmly set within the limits of what is considered a free and civilised social and economic consensus, so nobody needs anything nor wants for anything. But human nature being what it is, that scenario is a very forlorn and impossible dream.

A world that's a mix of the other 2 choices would be ideal for me.

I'd like a peaceful world where war is a nightmare from the past. I'd like a world where people as their birthright are each gifted a small parcel of land at birth. I'd like nuclear weapons and power to be gone. I'd like a world committed to reducing the human population by rewarding childlessness. I'd like all religions to be gone. I'd like free education for anyone who seeks it broadcast over the TV. I'd like a world where people respect and revere our beautiful planet and know how to live in harmony with it and all other life forms on lt. I'd like a world where a steady state economy enables people to just be, instead of wanting more and more stuff. I'd like fossil fuels to be gone along with climate change and oil spills and oil wars. yep. that's about it.

There wouldn't be much to fight over would there ? Or get into huge debt for. People seem to be working themselves into the ground these days. . . just so they can afford all the new and exciting ways in which to destroy and deplete the planet.

No there wouldn't, and if people spent as much time making windmills and solar panels, as they do telling us why they think it won't work, we would have sustainable power in a decade or two.

Too right ! I suspect a lot those idiots that object so loudly to wind and solar are being paid to do so by the fossil fuel industry. I mean what's not to like. ?
