a world that isn't kind,it's something I've worried about before,what kind of world my nieces will grow up in but I know that things get worse before they get better

Doesn't seem to be shaping up to be a very good one. It just gets worse all the time. I wish that my children and grandchildren could have experienced a childhood like mine. It was just such a great time to be in.

the world becoming much more challenging. 9/11 started the ball rolling--every thing changed. When the 2nd plane slammed into the 2nd Tower, it felt like the end of the world to me. In a way, it was. For all of us. (I know...duh!)

...hardship.Unless we can get people in power who are for enriching the economy instead of deadbeats who have no work ethic.
If we can tap OUR petroleum energy sources for about ten years, I believe the solar innovators will have time to perfect systems that will supply all our energy needs.

Infertility of imagination, free thought and initiative. They will be educated techno-sheep. Sorry, my 19 month old grandaughter already knows how to use an I-phone and an I-pad. Sad that she will be so devoid of struggle to grasp imperical concepts because she will have thoights to guide her on demand without having to utilize her mind to streach her imagination.

Why am I a author, poet and songwriter? I grew up watching radio. I had to imagine.....

This is what I see for the future... Why?
The coming generation is self serving, Godless, Hedonistic and has no idea what common sense or a work ethic is.. Drugs are embraced not scorned.. The family unit is becoming extinct.

I disagree.. The world is going to pot.. We as a society just keep moving the line of acceptable behavior further and further into a bottomless pit of entitlement minded people who believe the world spins only for them and their personal pleasure.. Morals are a thing of the past.. I'm disgusted.. I thank God every day for my family and the fact that he gave me 2 great kids who have high morals and respect for others and most important self respect..
