“If you want to take your mission in life to the next level, if you’re stuck and you don’t know how to rise, don’t look outside yourself. Look inside. Don’t let your fears keep you mired in the crowd. Abolish your fears and raise your commitment level to the point of no return, and I guarantee you that the Champion Within will burst forth to propel you toward victory.”

I find this quote so incredibly inspiring! I realized that I have only ever really done what feels comfortable in my life. I have never put myself in a position where I’m doing something that I have never done before. I have done this knowingly because the idea of looking like I don’t know what I am doing scares the heck out of me. After realizing this, I feel that limiting myself is ridiculous!
I am just shooting myself in the foot because… how can I ever grow if I never challenge myself. How can I ever know the depths of me if I spend my whole life skimming the surface and doing what is comfortable. So, I have decided to branch out. I will be...

Even though I'm afraid or hesitant, I do my best to be more confident. Venturing out into the unknown, meeting people, learning and seeing new things...is what makes life even more interesting and worth living. It would be boring without challenges.View thread

It really all depends on my state of mind at the moment in time when something arises that will push my boundries. Sometimes you just dont feel like being pushed. Generally speaking though, physically I will try just about anything once. If I enjoy it I'll keep with it. Emotional stuff is a little bit harder to pin down. Everyone hates being hurt. But you grow as a person and are better for it. Plus it is nice to be able to say " I did that " or " that has happend to me " when something is brought up. There is never anything wrong with being a well rounded person.
Getting your limits pushed reveals the real you and you cant know your true self until something comes along and breaks down your protective barriers. So why wait for the inevitable? Dive in head first. If you fall flat on your face, pick yourself up, dust off, go again. Be relentless in your pursuits. Take every breath like its your last. I live my life by this quote " If you take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive. ". That is the best advice I have ever got. When ever I feel like I cant do something I tell myself that and it allows me to overcome just about any obstacle. If you really think about it, what is so wrong with giving ...

I live my life by this quote " If you take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive. ". That is the best advice I have ever got. When ever I feel like I cant do something I tell myself that and it allows me to overcome just about any obstacle. If you really think about it, what is so wrong with giving something your all, pulling out all the stops, and just letting go? There is nothing wrong with it. Its a rush and theres is nothing like the rush of something new. You have to live for those moments and embrace them as the show up. Your life will be all that much more full. For instance in my life. I've writing and telling stories since I can remember. I won an award at 9 and was published at 14 but was always to scared to let myself be exposed to scrutiny and was told writing is not real life and I need to finish school and get a job. I hated the feeling of no one ever knowing me for who I really am. So just a few months ago I left my comfort zone and got in contact with a literary agent. I am now finishing my first screenplay " The Darkest Days ". Its the most liberating feeling I have ever had. I feel like I now know who I am.
Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.
