My two favorite books are "To Kill A Mockingbird", and a Stephen King book called "Cell".
Silmarillion
The pianist
Fools Errand, Robin Hobb
Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange
Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat
George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four
Ken Kasey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Alexander Dumas' The Three Musketeers
The best I reckon are Clockwork, Vampire Lestat, Dracula, and the three musketeers. I'm actually reading that at the moment, it is so funny. I love the bit when all of them sell the horses that D'artagnan gave them. So funny!!
My Quad (Bible, Book of Mormon, Docterine & Covenantes, Pearl of Great Price)
No.
1984: Depressing for some but thought-provoking for others
A History of the English Speaking Peoples: Four volumes; wordy but worded nicely
The Book Thief: Sad but interestingly written (Death is the narrator, among other things)
A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah
Steel My Soldier's Heart by David Hackworth
Call of the Wild by Jack London
And the Irish collection The Dubliners by James Joyce
"THE CATCHER IN THE RYE"
