I like having it be on the more spontaneous side. I hate doing the same position or me doing the work all the time. I can honestly say that when I'm stuck with the same position, I'm bored and would have rather not have sex at all because I could have taken care of myself. I'm not saying I want it spontaneous all the time, just doing something different once in a while would make me happy.
