		Luckily I never went to a bad one. I look before I buy.
		someone told me about he/her experience and it went like
		I never went to a hotel or motel
		I'm too rich to have anything lower than a five star suite. In other words the best hotels in the world.

There was nothing better where we had to spend the night (Laredo, Mexico). According to some people, the owners of the hotel would sneak inside the room while you were awake and steal your money of they could find it. Not sure if the rumors were true, but we didn't take any chances and always carried the money with us. And the room wasn't so great either. :/

I never went to a hotel or motel

Went camping in August in Hannibal Missouri on the river. Thought it would be quaint.. Like the books, ya know.

Bad idea, tenting. It was only like 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. We moved into the local Wal-Mart. Can you say air conditioning?

The Philippines has some of the worst hotels they call them pension houses, I use them some times for cheap temporary accommodation when I travel to different Islands and its a case of paying for what you get and pot luck. No shower or bath just a tap and a water bucket and water scoop like a small cooking pot made out of plastic. No toilet seat is the norm, however the places are kept clean. You pay about $US 6 per night so its great savings when traveling and normal I find a good but cheap hotel or resort apartment at the destination.
