When I was in a hospital a nurse refused to give pain medication that was ordered by my doctor. I was left for over 9 hours without medication as she kept telling me it was not time for the medication. She lied for the entire time, as the medication was ordered for every 2 hours.
When the nursing staff changed in the morning I asked why the medication schedule had changed and the new nurse told me no changes had been make,
I made a formal complaint to the hospital administration.
A nurse practitioner was going over some medical testing I needed because of some issues I was having (I believe I was 21/22 at the time) and stopped in mid-sentence to aske me "Do you have health insurance? I don't want to go over all this with you and have you tell me you can't afford it." Needless to say I was outraged.
This one DENTIST Double filled one cavity left hallowed out for a root canal and did not fill the other at all! Think HE was taking the laughing gas instead of giving it to me but unfortunately I did not find this out until a decade later when the whole tooth rotted and x-rays proved it all. . . living in a different state by then.
I was admitted with pneumonia. The nurse asked me if I smoked since most pneumonia patients were smokers. I responded truthfully that I've never smoked. She make small talk for a couple of moments, then circled back and tried to trick me into admitting I smoked. Grrr!!! I said, "Lady, I can easily fill this room with friends and family who will attest to my never having smoked. You're just going to have to get real happy with that answer because it's the only one that applies." That's not what I wanted to say, but hey...they hold the needles!
I mean it wasn't horrible but she was trying to flirt with me and I was like "No I'm gay." Then she rushed through the rest of the checkup hardly making eye contact. >.>
