Wait a second! You’re telling us that the most fashionable city in the United States isn’t New York City or Los Angeles? That’s right. Bundle awarded Irvine, CA the top spot in their ranking of fashion-conscious metropolises. Irvine is one of the richest cities in the nation and it is located in “the OC,” but we’re still not sure we buy this result.

So how did Bundle’s ranking work? The website, which analyzes aggregated spending data, first identified the fifty most populous cities in America (based on their data set). They then calculated the number of “fashion-conscious households” in each of those cities. To qualify as fashion-conscious, a household had to have had “at least four transactions at top-end designer merchants in the past 30 months.”

Hmm . . . so according to Bundle, the more money you spend on designer clothes the more fashionable you are. That analysis seems pretty questionable to us.

Well SodaHeads, now it’s your turn to decide. What is the most fashionable city in America?

I usually do not bother to pay mind. Grew up on the east, residing in the Mountains. Burque has some good taste here/there last I saw.

New York City is the most fashionable city in the USA. Bundle is wrong, it is not how much you spent on designers clothes, it is how you style yourselves with the clothes you either just bought or what you already have. NYC have the garment districts, the twice a year fashion week shows, Fashion Institute of Technology and other fashion merchandising colleges, we have the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute, the abundance of designers stores with high end goods are spread all over New York City especially on Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue, SOHO, etc., I am not sure where Bundle got their very biased information. I don't think they know New York City like the residents.

The undisputed Fashion Capitol of America, even the World, is Cincinnati, Ohio. [haha] Seriously, it's always said that Cincinnati is usually ten years behind the times when it comes to fashion, or ANYTHING for that matter. The people are still wearing Crocs and trucker hats and acid-washed jeans, for God's sake.

I get a lot of compliments regarding how I dress, I usually wait until I go to my hometown to shop which is close to Pittsburgh, Pa. I was told that most of the fashionable stores in Philly and Pittsburgh receive their clothing from buyers out of New York. I guess I just like that East Coast flare. I like classy clothes, and I find a lot of what they are wearing new adays is too revealing.

Irvine, CA is a dump as is the rest of the state. It is tired. I don't know where got that from(outside of what the TV shows you. I can think of a lot of lot more fashionable places.

I agree, what a joke.! I grew up in N.Y. lived all over the U.S., most CA cities are dumps, especially now a days. Los Angeles ranks number 1 dump city. Irvine, LOL!

Houston TX is fashionable in its own way. I lived in Houston for awhile. Still N.Y.C. is tops.
