+1You could need an orthopedist or a physical therapist. I had intense leg pain and numbness caused by bulging lumbar region disks. They inflamed the sciatic nerve- very, very painful.reply -

In 2008, I had an attack of superficial thrombophlebitis (blood clot) as opposed to deep vein throbophlebitis. I was treated with coumadin and later plavix. No surgery necessary. Do not ignore any leg pain! Please be careful! You need a doctor who knows the veins as well as the arteries. Too many heart specialists know only the arteries.reply

- say what? 2012/07/28 20:21:36I think+1I agree with the cardiovascular suggestion. Bad circulation and or a blood chemistry problem will cause leg troubles. I have more trouble if I don't take my walks regularly and keep my blood pH on the alkaline side.reply
