    Christ is a title not a last name. The Greek term Khristós means "anointed one". The proper term would be Jesus The Christ, not Jesus Christ.

    Jesus is the name translated out of its original,and christ and lord are titles,he was named jesus and was the body sent to house the christ then when john baptized him he took on the spirit of christ and was called jesus christ or jesus the christ and when he assended to his father he took on the title lord.there after being called lord jesus christ.I don't believe it says anywhere in the bible that any of gods messengers had last names.but a some did have titles or reasons for being chosen by god.moses was the law giver,abraham was the father of many nations and so on. God completes in three. As in lord jesus christ.and where there's good there's evil Judas completed Satan the devil,jesus said one of u is a devil and when he allowed that spirit to enter him he knew he had done the unforgivable so he killed himself,what I should have said to the original question is if he had a last name it should be christ,and yes I know Satan and devil originated from luccifer but he did what he was created to do but Judas had a choice.

    Since you are all over the board on your post, I won't even begin to dispute your comments. You are sufficiently confused over things that shouldn't be that confusing and you are bogged down in details that are relatively insignificant.

    Jesus got the name "Jesus" from his mother who was informed by the Archangel Gabriel what to call him. "Jesus" is an English transliteration of the name "Joshua". How Jesus got the name is simple, the spelling and pronunciation in Hebrew, Greek or English is confusing.

    Yes I know who gave jesus his. Name and who informed her to do so,I also know that it was translated from the name joshua.I was agreeing with u on that and the rest was just thing that I believe I wasn't trying to depute Orr prove anything was just saying.

Brigham Young said you can't get to the highest heaven without Joseph Smith's consent.     Yeah, I love Brigham Young. I'm curious, did you quote all those things out of the Journal of Discourses because you disagree with them? I noticed that your long winded rant didn't put any of the quotes by Brigham Young in context. I assume that's because you either are ignorant of the fundamental doctrine (of polygamy for instance) or you simply want to perpetuate misunderstanding and false accusations? I'd be happy to take any (or all) of your comments and discuss them if you want. It isn't necessary for me to argue with you and try and explain why the things Brigham said, because everything he said is correct. I'll qualify that a bit – everything he said in his capacity as Prophet is correct, I think there are some things he speculated on that might be questionable, but not much.

    Let me know if you want to examine anything in detail, if you think you already know it all then we won't bother.

I sure don't believe God spoke to him and said if you don't accept plural marriages you cannot enter my rest.enough said I hope to let you see I would consider it a waist of both our time to try and examine this matter any further.

    I may be a 'know-it-all' but I'm not ignorant. Ignorance is simply "not knowing" I don't know anything about taxidermy so I am ignorant about it. You are ignorant about Mormonism. That could be fixed, but you choose to remain ignorant. I definitely would not call you a "know it all".

    Your attack on Mormonism is very similar to the Gentile world attack on Christianity after Jesus died. The similarity even extends to the fact that Mormons were attacked, killed and driven from their homes by bigots like you, just like early Christians were put in the coliseums to be eaten by the lions.     I think you've resorted to repeating yourself. Posting your b.s. twice doesn't make it any more rational. BTW, I never said that polygamy wasn't taught by Joseph Smith or Brigham Young. I'm curious how you reconcile the polygamy practiced by people in the Old Testament. I think the concept of polygamy is offensive to you because you can't find one guy to marry your stinky ass. The idea that some man may have more than one wife must really piss you off huh?

    Looks like Skip has broken one of his golden rules,lol....................... the way you speak says a lot about yourself, and Mormons believe that foul language harms your spirit and degrades you, as well as those around you. Vulgar language is offensive to God, and can prevent His spirit from being with you. We are encouraged to always use uplifting and encouraging language that compliments others rather than puts them down, even in a sarcastic or joking manner. Christ told us that to love one another was the greatest commandment, second only to loving God. Talking behind others’ backs, gossiping, or speaking negatively is breaking this commandment. If you happen to be around a Mormon, I’m sure he or she would appreciate keeping the conversation positive by holding back offensive language, especially using the Lord’s name in vain.
