I lived on the beach at Carpenteria when I was a kid 50+ years ago when my Dad worked on San Nicholas Island. I also lived on the Dock of the Bay HERE for 5 years 20 years ago

i love them all except for the condo...and the space saver... and i always have a soft spot for Victorian style homes!

My ideal house would be a warehouse. The office space would be converted to a small apartment. I would build in a huge kitchen and a huge library. There would be a section for video games, pool table, air hockey, a bowling lane, and such. It would have full hook-ups for an RV which I would primarily live in (parked inside the warehouse.) Whenever I go on vacation, just unplug, pull out, lock up, and drive away. It wouldn't have to be a retrofit. It could actually be designed and built this way.
The warehouse/home would sit right in the middle of a square mile (640 acres) of land.

That part is the serious intention... now on to the fantasy stuff...
Under the warehouse would be a heavily armored/shielded facility that is completely self sustaining. The access(es) to it would be difficult to find and complex to open even when they are found. Any further description of this part will be withheld in case it someday moves from fantasy to reality.

I like a home to feel basic. A lot of the other homes remind me of somewhere I'd stay if I was on vacation. I do like some space though and a nice yard. I just like a cozy feel. Honestly if I could have any of these at any price I'd still choose the simple home. I would definitely enjoy this house the most out of the options.

that would be a beautiful place to live, i would be able to collect seashells everyday and go on the beach everyday (all excet winter and fall) and the houses are a nice place to live there. :)

I've always wanted to live in a big city.

I'd like a retrofitted house but not a fire station I'd rather have a old police station or one of those old missile silos that'd just be awesome lolz
