What has happened that people CAN NOT spell anymore? Especially on this site. I mean with this "Text Talk". Ex: Lyke, Mah, Cud. REALLY?!?

They are wasting their educaton in my opinion. They go to school and are taught to learn how to spell correctly and appropriately, and then they think that being online or having a cell phone gives them an excuse to lessen their intelligence. If I make a mistake with my spelling I fix it. if I do not know how to spell something then I take a bit of time to look it up and spell it correctly, and to learn something as well. If my mistakes cannot be edited, then I will apologize for my lack of noticing my spelling errors the next time that I write to them.

Absolutely ridiculous I agree. Is it really that hard to type or text properly. I can see why teenagers are hated by the majority of adults.

Mine is only four letters and is a common word but I must have trouble pronouncing it because you never know what they may have written down when I call to make reservations at a restaurant.

My favorite is when they're correcting your grammar with their bad spelling. Maybe they don't know that those squiggly red lines mean try again. Or they're learning spelling through those internet Kitteh meme's
