Hey. Don't give up on life just yet. Sometimes it sucks, and unfortunately, the low points are only going to get lower as you get older. But the high points get higher, too. If your life were a movie, you're only 20 minutes or so into it, so stick it out a while and see if you start to like the plot more. I know the characters seem pretty lame and one-dimensional in the beginning, but it should get more interesting soon.

Life's manageable even with heartbreakers. When you look back on stuff, it doesn't seem quite so bad as it does the day it happens. Immediacy sharpens things, and then they soften as time passes, like wax under a candle's flame.
In my experience, good times seem better and bad times seem less terrible the farther back they happened. It doesn't do you a lot of good when it comes to bad things today, true, but if you can find a way to get past it today it will get easier with enough time.

For better or for worse, a large part of how our lives turn out depends heavily on how we react to things that are out of our control. If someone upsets you, do you dwell on it, or do you try to not let it bother you? If someone compliments you, do you blow it off and think "oh they're just saying that," or do you let it brighten your day a little bit? If someone doesn't listen to you, do you think they're being rude, or do you consider the possibility that maybe something's going on in their life that you don't know about yet? If someone asks you for something, do you begrudge them, or are you happy knowing that you have the chance to do something for someone else, even if it's small, even if they won't be grateful?

Things are going to upset you, and people aren't always going to listen to you. But (I hope!) some folks will be nice to you, and (I know) some folks are going to ask you for things. How will you let that change you?

You seem like a nice girl. I hope that good things happen to you, but even more than that, I hope that the bad things that happen to you -- for it rains on the just and the unjust alike -- won't get you down too much.

she is adorable! I know how you feel, I dont have kids but my nieces mean the world to me. Life does suck sometimes but it would suck more if we couldnt enjoy those little girls!

she nicer to me than any one shes almost 2 and she talks a little bit but the only names she knows are mommy and kiya (my name) she cries when she doesnt want to go to bed i sneak in and hug her till she does! i dont know what id do with out her!

I am so with you on that. It is your job as her favorite aunt to be honest with her and love her like no one else does! She will grow up looking up to you and respecting you. You will be her roll model. Remember that always!!!

I have 3 total. Im closest to my sisters kids. I dont get to see my brothers daughter often. I love big families!!!!
