My friends and I were talking about leftovers and how some foods taste better the day after. This seems to go against intuition; after all, food is not as fresh the next day and fresher is better, right? My friend likes leftover pizza and I like leftover Indian food. What kind of food do you like to eat as leftovers, and possibly even like more as leftovers?

Taco Bell regular tacos. I don't like them fresh. Actually, I don't really eat Taco Bell anymore. But when I did, I ate a couple soft tacos and a tostada for dinner, and then had a couple leftover crispy tacos for lunch the next day; microwaved of course.

Chili. It must age or something in the pot, 'cause when you re-heat it a day or two later the jalapenos and habaneros really come to life and the armadillo tastes sooo much sweeter!

Yeah! My Aunt Ermine from Texas gave me the recipe. It's off da chain! But there's not many armadillos where I live, so I usually have to wait 'til my annual visit to Aunt Minnie's to get some.

lol! I've heard them called "possom on the half-shell". Sounds almost elegant. Most of the ones I've seen have been dead on the road.

They taste real similar to possum, too -- at least in chili, with all those seasonings they do. I wouldn't be surprised if my Aunt Minnie carries a shovel and a cardboard box in her trunk in case of a roadside opportunity, but she also traps the little beasties on her ranch.

For me..Nothing beats my family's leftover from the holi-days..Christmas,Thanksgi... Easter, the 4th Of July, any
relative's Birth-day & Sunday pasta & sauce...Nothing like a good,qual-ity,care package of awesome home cooked food.. Depending on the food item..I could make certain leftovers at least, last a week..to still savor the flavor..cant get enough of it...Pizza Hut pizza..a decent sirloin from a quality steak house & Red Lobster's garlic-butter-cheddar- biscuits..are pretty good even after a couple days..Any-one else getting hungry here, besides me ?!
