Thank you for the kind thought. I've been fighting for quite a few years above the law with no expectations of hand-outs. My problem is more with the system as it seems to compensate for that commitment in an effort to shift the equity i have earned elsewhere leaving me at square one.

So good news! You get to start over. So did I and you might just do what's right for you this time. Not everyone gets or tries a second chance!

At 61 its a challenge but i won't give up.

Well, thank God we still have our lizard brains! That's how we are alerted to sudden movement.
With regard to so called lower life forms, I've seen some amazing relationships involving folks and animals. We have no pets here and the animals live on their own. But they do come to visit, and it's not just for a handout! They come for the rubbies and socialization.

Understood. I'm a basic Pagan. But Buddhism isn't a religion, merely a lifestyle with interesting values. The Christian New Testament would have been the same thing if greedy folks hadn't screwed up and made it political.

I would say it, though it sounds boring: To be the guitar player I was 4 years ago. I was the kind who worked at it. I started young and put 10,000+ hours of practice (estimated) through 25 years with a few breaks. Gave it up when my daughter was born, as I'm the all or nothing type. If I can't practice 2 hours a day to maintain my desired level of play, then I will not play period. (and thus punish myself haha). Well, I have been taking it out some lately as its good for my kids to be in touch with music. A nice feeling that although not quite like riding a bike, I could still quickly learn a song a day. My kids enjoy hearing me play 'God only knows' beach boys. Sorry for the long answer. Some answers are difficult to minimize. World peace? Why not throw that in too ;)

I always had trouble with my augmented chords and keeping my fingers calloused. Play for fun, not perfection is my advice. Life should be all about fun. That's why we're here, right?
