Yep, that's right: another tablet joins the ranks. But this one's from Google. So, it's got to be cool, right? Designed by Google, the seven-inch Google Nexus 7 tablet is $199 and available in the Google Play market now. It will begin shipping in mid-July.
But speaking of tablets, we wanted to know what you find most useful about them. Is it the games? Is it the streaming movies? Is it the ease in which you're able to read the news without squinting your eyes? We want to know!

Wish I could AFFORD a Tablet ..
(especially one that is of a decent size)
it would be far easier for me
if I could have one that has the same apps that I use now in daily life with my smartphone ...
(android-based)
for that little device .. is very clumsy to use with the size of hands I have ..
and I use it for drawing
or even coloring if I have permission from the artist!
(Gaia usernames)
Luckily, my iPad was free (gift card from investment brokerage for starting an account with them) because I HATE the limitations that it imposes on me actually DOING something with it. Where is Steve Jobs buried? I want to go piss on his grave...
Now, if they brought the price of these down to a reasonable level, I might consider buying one, but that's still a ways off, and if they do reduce the price, I bet an actual book, and/or a portable DVD player, would still be a better deal.
