...um, most cards don't explicitly state gender anyway, it's typically terms of endearment involved, which work for anyone, gay, straight or whatever.

Also, Valentine's Day is just a cash grab from greeting-card companies. If you love someone, why not make your own card? Or, why not express it EVERY day of the year?

I don't celebrate it myself, it's all a load of consumerism nonsense, but if homosexual's want to celebrate it, why shouldn't they? They are paying customers, any gift-card company would be absolutely stupid NOT to cater for the gay community as well as the het.
