What Do You Do When You Have Writers Block?

It happens to anyone who considers themselves a writer. The mind goes blank and you become totally useless. It's what happened to me today. But....lesson learned. I never get it....I can't write.

I don't write but i do draw and when i find it hard to think of something to draw or what to do next while im drawing i listen to calming music and it usually helps me. I also listen to water its really calming like either the rain or one of those water machiens that are pretty and i don't know the name for. I don't know if its the same as writing but they are both forms of art so maybe just trying those ideas. But what works for me might not work for you i hope you find somthing though. :)

I write short stories and poetry a lot what I do is usually take my mind off writing for behold (usually for me that means listening to some good metal) the key is to just not get worked up and let the ideas come to you after awhile of doing something else an idea usually pops into my head.

Wine, beer or pizza....Mountain dew, monster drink........hot wings.........nice women to be around......just to name a few things...always seems to get my creativity flowing....and boating/water skiing.....it always seems to motivate me......why that is, i have no idea.....its like people asking president Obama why he likes to play golf.....ya know, ya just find something that works and stick with it.(egg drop soup also!!!! REALLY great stuff when working on music, etc.)
