The problems facing gay people in today's society, would probably vary according to the Country they reside in. In the U.S., the problems facing homosexuals would vary greatly depending on what State they reside in. No doubt there would be fewer problems encountered if they reside in San Francisco vs. a small town in the mid-west.

Please note that this poll does not ask your opinion about homosexuality. This topic is meant to bring people to the table commenting about a subject that is not divided by one's political or religious affiliation. There are gays who are democratic, republicans, libertarians, bi-sexuals and homosexuals involved in Christianity, Judaism, Atheism, Scientology, etc I would like to hear from all groups, particularly those who are gay to see where they reside and what problems they have encountered. This is NOT a platform to be disrespectful of gays or any group. Please - if you cannot be respectful, then do not respond on this poll. Thank you.

All of these are terrible issues that gay people have to face, but I think this one is the worst, with bullying running a close second. The amount of people who have died, either through homicide or suicide...it breaks my heart just thinking about it.

Well heteros don't really face discrimination for being hetero that's kinda the point I'm straight and I've never been discriminated against for it or seen it happen to anyone else sure it probably happens Once for every million or so cases of homosexual discrimination you see the problem there?

It isn't, probably shouldn't have brought it up wasn't very relivent, but bullying on both sides hetero or homo rather it is because one is hetero or homo doesn't matter we are all bullied the same the only differnce between heteros and homos is that homos cant marry.

They should be able to marry, not saying other wise but other than that one issue I don't think they are any different from anyone else at all.
