I have always been one to insist on wearing something nobody else could possibly have, either by making my own clothes or getting them from places nobody knew of. This dress was one of my Grandmothers - she had three closets full of antique dresses. It kind of looked like this one - I drew this from memory, but my prom was 40 years ago... BTW - if you can find a dress in any shade of purple or orange, it would look fantastic on you.
