I don't like cities. I like small towns. Cities are oppressive, too busy, expensive and unhealthy places to live in. People are left lonely in cities because individuals there are more likely to get ignored and people aren't valued there as much. Cities have weak social networks to help people who are down and out. I live(d) it, I know.
I agree, but there r small villages and towns that have great appeal. The people r friendly and usually u can find some great souvenirs that don't have the names of where u've been plastered all over them.
Well technically I wouldn't call it visiting as I live there, but I can't stand being away from it and I love it more than anything in the world. Vienna.
What I love is all these sites are in the middle of the city which you just pass on your way to work or school.
Prague, Paris, Barcelona, Innsbruck, Bangkok, and Glasgow are all excellent and I'd love to go back again.
Places that I'd love to visit for the first time include New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Sydney, Rome, Moscow, St Petersburg, Beijing, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Reykjavik... basically any city anywhere! I love the excitement of city life and I love city breaks.
If anyone is wondering why I didn't put London, Liverpool, or Manchester it's because I've lived in all of them so they don't count as places to visit!
