My dad is always in a different part of the country or overseas working so I don't see him much, and my mom is always on call at the hospital so we spend major time apart. After awhile it gets frustrating and you grow apart in ways.reply

Parental favoritism .+1Rivalry mainly...They both have different strengths and needs, which they might perceive as favoritism. And their tempers with each other flare up rather easy. It's tough to be in the middle...makes me want to put on a striped shirt and a whistle.reply

- GirlGoingGreen 2012/01/14 03:35:15Parents need couseling.+2My brothers and I don't fight anymore really, but my parents are fighting more and more. They are fighting over the STUPIDEST stuff. My dad never learns his lesson while my mom expects him to know exactly what she's thinking. Both are at fault. Can't wait until I am out of this house!!reply

+2Sad, that they can't see that. :+(reply - GirlGoi... thepastord 2012/01/14 04:01:12
+2Yes, it is. I know that if I interfered in their arguments, I would only make it worse, so I stay out of them. At least I'll be out of the house soon, but I honestly hope they stop soon. How will they enjoy their upcoming retirement when they fight over petty things every night!reply - ruru 2012/01/14 03:28:52Communication issues.+2My adult daughters can not accept each other the way they are.reply
