It's not really summer vacation for me because I don't do anything that requires me to take a vacation from it, but I'm not really going anywhere either unless you count the family reunion planned for sometime in June or July

I plan on staying home and swiming, and swimming and more swimming. :) I love my doggies too much to go on vacation and leave them, and who can afford to travel now anyway??? Not me. :)

Although I will also travel to Asia, I consider my vacation to be Europe, particularly Italy for 7 - 10 days. I will say, if going to Asia, consider Vietnam. People are friendly, beaches are stunning, shopping is the best value in Asia, and food is terrific and priced right. And did I mention the US dollar goes a very long way and it's the safest country I have ever traveled!

My husband and I are heading to Philly for a Red Sox v Phillies series in May and then we will be heading down to Bal'more for the series v the Red Sox the end of Sept. We may head up to privately owned cabin to relax with our dogs for a few days, too.

staycations are GREAT in Florida.
I'm within spitting distance of Busch Gardens, the Dali Museum and the beach. and Epcott Center, NASA and Disney World are about 4 hours away.

acourse, that would be TWO hours [and lots less fuel] if Pink-Slip Rick hadn't scuttled high speed rail between Tampa and Orlando.
