What are you living for besides to get old and die?

cause god wont let me die and go to heaven despite me begging him every single day

I believe we all have the same mission in life we just have different experiences to achieve it. We are all spirit beings and we make choices in this life to strive to perfect that spirit. Since God is pure Spirit, if we are not in touch with our own spirit, we are unable to connect with Him. The body is used to carry out those choices to determine if we grow for better or worse, much like a driver uses a vehicle to arrive at a destination. God wants us to choose life. He is here for love, help and guidance. We often lose our way and do not grow in the ways we should. God is patient thank goodness. If we disagree about spiritual things, it is better to extend each other grace and learn to say, "perhaps" that way I am not insisting I am right or that you are wrong. We can each seek God in our own way so long as we do not harm another in that process. He is ultimately the One who will deal with our hearts. Too often we feel the repercussions of other peoples bad decisions or those of our own. There is much to learn and many weaknesses to conquer. Strange, we call them "weaknesses" yet they control us. These weaknesses are what God would like to see our spirit master in our lives. A favorite verse in the Hebrew Tanach, which the English Bible has changed by only a "tad" but changes its meaning is Song of Songs, 7:11, "I am my Beloved's and He LONGS for my perfection." He does not force, it is our choice on how we live.

If you are only living for Jesus and preparing for eternity, you are not living your life and only living to die.

I think it is better to say, "pass on" since many believe the body dies but the true essence of who we are, our spirit, continues on. We prepare for the next phase of life. Imagine the caterpillar that transforms into the butterfly. It may appear to be going to it's grave but we know better. Or the fetus in the womb for 9 months yet through much pain and stress, enters out into an entirely different surrounding/life. All needs are being met while in the womb, we do not know to what degree of understanding the infant has of what is going on but I believe they have an awareness. They may think they are dying during childbirth.

The term 'passing on' is simply used for the 'denial of death' that is a huge part of society today. That is a huge part of religion is the 'denial of death' and the lack of acceptance of mortality.

I am living to try and change the world. If I didn't think it was possible, I would have killed myself a long time ago.

I am just living for my uncle(mums bro) and my grandma( mum's mother) , the only ones who i love truly =] if it wasnt for them i would be here today <3

everyone has there own opinion of life weather its god or just death or anything but me i dont care what the reason is i don't want to die but one day i will and i wont sit on my death bed and look back and all i see is the fright of death no i want to live my life i want to love and i want to lose i want to hurt and get hurt i want my bones broken and mended i want to dance and laugh i want kids a wife and a family if im to busy worrying on whats the point of life then ill never really see the point of life and my opinion is... life's whole point is for you to live and not just be alive but LIVE

i am living and doing the best i can, raised a great family and they in turn are raising their own families..helping people when i can and trying hard not to have an adverse affect on other peoples lifes...

My God and my family. If not for them, I'd have given up living a long time ago.

I live to be as good a son as I can, as good a husband and father as I can, and as good a teacher as I can. I also live to learn as much as I can. And yes, I try to have some fun along the way, too.

I am living to do some good maybe, or have fun drawing, living for god sounds noble but I'm not that strong.

What do you expect me to do? Kill myself because I haven't gotten rich?
