What age did you let your kids go to the mall with their friends?

Hello everyone! Today I have a question which is very common for mothers and fathers. So, What age did you let your kids go to mall with their friends? Or, at what age will you let them go, considering parents with toddlers out there.
I am doing a report for school which is: What age should children be able to go to the mall by themselves with friends. It shows the pros and cons about what age average americans think, and then what the studies show about kidnapping rates, and what age they would think is more 'logic thinking.'
So if you could help me out, just post what age you let/will let your children go to the malls by themselves with friends. And share this question, so hopefully I can get the amount of answers I need!
