Hello, we've been in the shelter for 2 days now or 3... It's different than I expected. We have been able to get free meals, a shower, and qualified for food stamps and homeless medical.

We are now waiting on a transitional housing program which is far better than the shelter we are currently at. We had an appointment today but the guy called out sick.

Thank you for caring. God is with us. We are sunburnt, we are hungry at times from all of the walking, and we are just trying to get stuff accomplished. We had to leave and abandon most of our stuff along the way to even get to the shelter. Hopefully, from this point on, things will start looking up.

If I get accepted into the shelter, if they will take all of the stuff we have, if I leave tomorrow for the library, I would be able to go online and tell everyone who cares how we are doing.
