Take a hot bath to take the sting out of it. Then, lots of aloe vera- best straight from the plant or make due with some in a bottle. Also take some NSAIDS(non-steroid anti inflammatory medication like aspirin or ibuprofen, this will help with the redness and swelling. U can also a buy a tube of hydrocortizine, people usually use it for mosquito bites( stops the itching) but it also helps with the swelling/ redness of a sunburn. Hope this helps! P.S. I am a R.N.reply - shansera shansera 2012/07/03 04:46:48 (edited)
Also use a good quality skin moisturizer that really hydrates your skin-apply several times a day! This one is awesome!

+1Sit in a cool bath with about 10 drops of lavender oil for about an hour. do thi a coupke of times a day. Take a pain reliever also . Wear loose clothing that will not irritate. Aloe is good and so are non scented creams. Vinegar helps draw the heat out.reply - AmericanVirus 2012/06/18 14:12:48
+1Aloe vera, but if you're allergic you're out of luck because I don't have any other suggestions.reply - lorenab. 2012/06/18 14:12:35
