I don't know at this point if it is worse or better but I recently went through a HUGE change. 2 yrs ago I had my own home, a husband, somewhat secure in life, and an extended family. Today, I am starting all over...not by choice... Alone, renting, no extended family, no job, and wondering how I will survive, but things will be okay....I hope

Its better now

Two years ago I still had my house. I still had my job and my business. I felt fairly confident that both Hillary and obama could not win. I had 1 grandson, I thought things looked pretty good. Now my house is gone. obama is president. Business sucks, I have no confidence that people are smart enough to have the vote. However, I now have 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. If you do the math I'm ahead of the game.

In most ways it was the same. The big difference is that I was teaching school two years ago. Now I'm retired. Other than that, my economic situation is roughly the same.

Yes it was a lot different that it is now... I just graduated from college, getting ready to start a new job and getting married... So I would say so.

Its better now

Two years ago I was in physical therapy as I just had knee replacement surgery and I was managing to exist by taking Vicodin around the clock just to dull the horrible pain. Life was terrible and I was getting depressed thinking I would never get my life back. Time passed, knee healed and I did get my life back. Things are so much better thanks to loving family and good friends and hard work. Just look at the picture.

It's a whole lot better now mostly because I'm okay with everything that happens. And finally not afraid of what people think. Like "I don't care what you say about me, I know myself and you don't" attitude. yeah . . . I'm starting to realize why some things happen and some things just don't change. :)

i wasnt confident, didnt stand up for my self, didnt have any friends and was really quiet and shy. but now i can stand up for myself more, have so many more friends and now very friendly and talkative :)

Well, two years ago, I knew exactly what I wanted in life, I wanted to get married to my boyfriend at the time someday, and I wanted to be a horse trainer. Now, I have a new boyfriend, (long story) and he is wonderful, but of course we are both hard headed, so that doesn't mix well in arguments. lol. and I don't know what I want to do with my life.
It's both better and worse in some aspects, you can't really compare any situation to another, because every situation is different.

Two years ago I was raising a baby. Scared and anxious of being a new mom. Two years later, I am getting used to it. Life never gets worse. Only better, if you let it. People's lives only get bad, because they let it get that way. No one's fault but their own. So people who say their lives are bad, do something about it.
