- Pele Emerging 2012/06/25 20:09:13None of the above+1I don't think any divorce is truly amicable. As our children were grown, there was no fight about custody or child support. He wanted to go off and live with his new girlfriend, so he didn't really want much. The bills were split. The savings was already mine (inheritance). So though we had no fights other than he thought I should pay all the bills when he'd built up the balances paying for his affairs, there were not any major problems. It was almost too easy, but then I had to deal with a lot of hurt. I got over it.reply

+2You can have a divorce where you don't really fight over anything, but still, it isn't exactly amicable, is it?reply - MisterD Pele Em... 2012/06/25 20:13:33
Not one whit, Pele.reply - Aingean 2012/06/25 19:08:15yes+1We parted ways with out fighting over anything, there wasn't anything to fight over. He wasn't even in the state so I didn't have to deal with him.reply
- TasselLady 2012/06/25 18:58:11None of the above+1I've never married, so thank God I never had to go that route and hopefully never will if I do marry someday. It's very painful. I've spoken to many people who went through it. It really drains your energy so I've heard.reply
