The always-stunning Natalie Portman got married over the weekend in a traditional Jewish ceremony in Big Sur, California. Because the nuptials were private, we haven't seen much in the way of wedding photos yet, but one picture has emerged of Portman wearing a simple wedding gown designed by Rodarte, who also designed the actress' tutu in "Black Swan."

Natalie Portman sure looks ecstatic in the photo, but some fashion critics aren't so happy with her simple style choice. What do you think of Natalie Portman's wedding dress? Is it adorable -- or just plain ugly?

You got that right. Since Jennifer Garner and Natalie Portman are my dream girls, can you tell me about what my taste is? I've never figured it out, but all the women I like look similar in some ways. :)

I'd say REAL women covers it pretty well. Low maintenance, attractive in their own right kind of women which, I've got to agree, are the finest type!

I think the dress is just plain ugly. It's too short and the puff sleeves make the dress look dated. I also agree she looks more like a bridesmaid than a bride.

'Ugly' is a bit strong for my personal opinion; but definitely not 'adorable'. Get rid of those ridiculous sleeves and lengthen it a bit. JMHO. (:

Again, lacking options on this poll. Their should be a neither choice. While I don't care much for the dress and don't think it's adorable, I also don't feel it's ugly. It's not ugly at all, just doesnt do anything for me. And really "style critics" who says simple is bad? Should women always be over the top and flashy?

This picture doesn't do it any justice I am sure. That pose (not actually a pose, obviously), along with the blurriness of the photo, neither flatters the dress nor her figure. That being said, with a little imagination of what it might look like were this a PROPER photograph and not taken by sneaking paparazzi, I think the dress would be as beautiful and sweet as she is.

I chose ugly, because it's definitely more ugly than adorable, but it's not horrible. It's dowdy looking and the sleeves look weird, too long and too loose, though she looks beautiful. They're happy and that's all that matters.

Where do i start? the length is awkward, but doable. the sleeves, however, look stiff and ill-fitting. on top of that, the dress is so plain.

I find her to look quite fetching in that dress.
This photograph doesn't do much justice here, especially since it was taken behind a tree or brush while she was walking.
The crown of flowers is a nice touch.

Terrible, sneaked photo though. Seriously, I bet when she's standing straight and not in an awkward half-walking pose it looks fine. You honestly can't judge the aesthetics of the dress by this photo. I'm a textiles student, and even I'm not going to pass judgement. There really should be another option, rather than just "Ugly" or "Adorable" >.>
