What about the experience had by your elderly greeter that was shoved aside by your precious customer? What about assigning some actual security to help keep the peace? And, because she prevented a possible broken hip, she is screwed. Nice, Wal-Mart.

With all the money they make they surely can afford new carts and hire a new grave yard shift that will actually work, instead of firing someone that was doing her job. And to the person who made this lady's firing possible, you should be ashamed of yourself.

This kind of crap from Walmart is not new, though. They really treat their employees poorly. A young friend of my daughter's (hard worker, too) was written up. Her supervisors kept assigning her to do other things, but wrote her up when she did those things because they told her it was the highest priority, but the stuff which was part of her job description didn't get done.

I actually read the reports she says she was falling however she has no proof of that and it wasn't caught on camera either so it's a he said she said situation and the reason she wasn't given a second chance is because just like messing with a forklift messing with a customer is an immediate termination. Also the only reason the lady would push her is if she got close enough to be pushed and she's not supposed to do that with an unruly customer either.

That poor woman, she was damned if she did, damned if she didn't. She can have the customer arrested for assault since she pushed her. The poor woman could have broken a hip had she fallen. The customers are allowed to assault the staff, but staff is not allowed to defend self. Find a lawyer to work pro bono and sue them.
