Mitt Romney

He was born rich, and yet he pretends to be a self-made man.
He has spent many millions on failed political campaigns, thus establishing himself as a candidate with a history of pumping millions of dollars into failed efforts.
And what has the man gotten done? He was given the Olympic job to make him visible and build his resume in preparation for running for public office. Are you suggesting that no one else could have done as well being in charge of the 2002 Winter Olympics?
Do you think his Olympic experience is what caused him to disrespect the British, and the organization of their Olympics? Maybe he thought he could build himself up by running them down. How incredibly petty is that? The man is chock full of character flaws, isn't he?
Why in your opinion does Romney refuse to allow his tax records to be released? What's he hiding?
As a Mormon, maybe you're more in tune with the way the man thinks.
What are your insights? What do you think?
Do I think no one else could have done better with SLOC, no, I don't thing that no one else could have done better, there, most likely are several people out there that could have done better, but either none of them could be found, or they all refused. Either way, he accepted the position and did a good job with it.
If you are going to start saying people don't deserve to be in office because they are running others down, you better be ready to eject the whole of the current House and Senate, as well as our current president, as they all do it.
Yes, he does have character flaws, as does Obama. I have them, and so do you. Don't judge a man harshly because his character is different than yours.
Why won't he release his tax returns? I don't know, why don't you ask him, Just because we're both LDS doesn't mean we all think alike, we don't have a hive mind. He may have done some unscrupulous things when he was running his businesses, if they told you honestly, I don't think there's a large business owner out there who hasn't. So, he may have deducted things he shouldn't have, or found ways around different taxes. Either way, I think it's a private mat...

It's not like people are saying he's not a US citizen like the Obama birthers are. If they are trying to say he's not honest, neither is any career politician.
I can't understand why you can't see why.
The character of a man in his financial dealings is a pertinent consideration when he runs for public office, especially when he premises the bulk of his campaign on the claim that he has superior financial aptitudes, talents, and skills.
I'm sure Romney did not do anything illegal when it came to his tax returns, but I'm equally sure he has done plenty that is unethical. What is legal is not always what is ethical.
So basically what we have here is a man who claims to be financial Wizard, but who will not let us see how he handles his own finances.
That doesn't make him very credible does it?
His refusal to release his tax records puts his character in question, and it puts his claims of financial mastery or even his financial competency into question.
And STILL, he refuses to release his tax records, which can only mean that whatever he is hiding would absolutely sink him as a candidate if the nation found out about it.
An American citizen would have to be a fool to vote for Mitt Romney.
I got it.
And Thank you . . . i will.
. . . You too.
In other words, you still care.
I, on the other hand, don't care if you care.
I couldn't care less.
And I still couldn't care less.
But have a nice day anyway.
You're happy to be completely out of touch with reality.
I guess I don't blame you, because the facts just don't support you.
At least your'e being honest with yourself.
In other words, what you're really saying is that evil, nasty, dirty low down, racist, traitorous Right Wing Nut Jobs disagree with me?
I already know that.
It's one of those Good-Against-Evil situations.
And I'm on the side of Good.
I am keenly aware of reality. Just ask me. I'll tell you.
Besides, it's not my fault you RWNJ's are so Evil.
Did you know that he and Romney were born only five months apart?
They share some eerie similarities.
. . . Both good Mormons, at least superficially, and both Republicans who attended the Republican National Convention together in 1968.
Why did Right Wing Slime feel they have to lie so much?
Mitt Bundy and Ted Romney have a lot in common.
And that's a fact.
Born within five months of each other . . . so they are from the same era, with all that implies.
Both Mormons . . . and from as far as anyone knew . . . absolutely upstanding young men who didn't drink, smoke, or curse.
But Bundy was found out.
. . . while Romney is still able to maintain the illusion.
If Ted Bundy had been fortunate enough to have been born with millions of dollars, he might be running for President now.
And even with his millions to soften public perceptions, Romney's flawed character is transparently obvious.
All those missing person's cold cases from Michigan in the 1960's and 1970's should be re-examined.
I replied to your post.
You are the one who initiated our conversation . . . Not I.
And yes . . . . I think MItt Romney's past should be investigated.
He fits the profile of serial murderer.
He's exactly like Ted Bundy, except much wealthier . . . And that wealth along with his father's influence would make it much easier for Bully Boy Mitt to get away with murder.
I don't eat just anything.
And you need to get more exercise.
Even your brain has gone flabby.
