McSecret, no more! McDonald's Executive Chef Dan Coudreaut posted a video on the McDonalds Canada YouTube channel showing how to make a Big Mac at home. The McDonald's chef spends several minutes explaining the details including the "classic signature of the Big Mac experience." And don't forget the ingredients: mayo, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Who knew all that fancy stuff was in a Big Mac?

FOXNEWS.COM reports:
If you still think the recipe for McDonald's Big Mac is a secret, think again.

No, it's bad enough of killing MYSELF eating it, but killing SOMEONE else making it. No thanks.

McDonalds never made a good hamburger in their history they just gave toys to kids to get them to demand their parents take them there so who would want to fix one at home? Not me.

They hire "food cosmeticians" to do 'tricks; with the photography. Most scooped ice cream in photos is actually lard. Or they bake a turkey for only an hour to get the skin looking juicy, but when you slice in the breast it's raw. Just get a blow dryer or heat gun to char the cut meat into a 'cooked' color.

Usually when you get a layered burger in a box or wrap, the parts are usually aslope.

yeah, iv actually heard that the fry containers only actually contain about 10 fries and that tooth picks are used to make them seem like the carton is over flowing with fries.

Long ago, when a(n unspecified) company that made canned ham had a shoot, they would have to open a dozen or two cans to get one whose contents looked 'presentable' for the camera, afterwards the cans were given to charity.
Today, the health codes required this to be tossed in the trash.

There goes FOX clueless barking up the wrong tree as usual. It's JACK IN THE BOX who has the trademark "Secret Sauce" - not McDonalds.

If you're ever shy of cash and you want a big mac, order a DLM. It's a double cheeseburger made up like a big mac, it costs about $2.

It is :). but please make your own at home, then you won't have to deal with gross ingredients like sodium benzoate, disodium guanylate, calcium disodium edta, postassium sorbate, propylene glycol (isn't that a plastic and they just nonchalantly put it in our food?)
  • Queen B AskZilla 2012/07/11 05:49:53

I refuse to buy fast food because of all that stuff.
