McSecret, no more! McDonald's Executive Chef Dan Coudreaut posted a video on the McDonalds Canada YouTube channel showing how to make a Big Mac at home. The McDonald's chef spends several minutes explaining the details including the "classic signature of the Big Mac experience." And don't forget the ingredients: mayo, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Who knew all that fancy stuff was in a Big Mac?

If your attempting to suggest McDonalds use horse meat in their burgers, you might want to check the costing... They aren't that picky about what they put in there, but they sure as hell wouldn't buy a significantly more expensive meat.

Use fresh ingredients, use real, high quality beef, lose the middle bun and you've got a reasonably good burger.

The "secret sauce" is just thousand island dressing anyway.

I've heard of them, but never had the chance to stop and try it. The next road trip I'm planning will take me through 25+ states (about 7500 miles). Almost half will be from Los Angeles through the South to Florida and up the eastern coast. I should have a chance to stop at one somewhere through there.

You can always have a turkey mac, with fat free thousand island, low fat cheese, and whole grain bun, and have most of the taste, without the fat.

While I love a Big Mac, I hardly ever eat or McDonalds because of the unhealth factor. Why change my healthy diet now to where theirs more temptation to eat something like that than a regular, good old cheeseburger?
