My husband to be and myself had planned on a huge traditional wedding on June second, but I had to take care of the last of my legal issues and got out of jail on June first, and most of the guestlist assumed I was still going to be incarcerated on the second. Therefore, the wedding was pushed forward indefinitely. Much to my combined relief /chagrin (Do you know how much a wedding costs?)... :> Anyhow, Cary (my fiancée ) and I discussed and have since considered simply eloping in Vegas...any input, here? I could really use some opinions.

Metal Head Mom's idea sounds great too, if its a lot more expensive you could always sneak over there for a romantic honeymoon after the wedding!!reply

- METALheadMom 2012/07/12 13:11:39None of the above+2Vegas---- eck. Hot, ugly, no trees, drunks, pick pockets..... GO TO LAKE TAHOE - book yourself a wedding on the Tahoe Queen. I'm not sure how many people you can bring with you, we brought two. The Captain marries you up on the bow, all the passengers are witnesses - cool, and they all were great. Then, you go downstairs with your guests, and are served a very intimate private dinner with champagne before all the other guests are served. It was great!! Think it was under $150.00, but that was awhile ago.... seriously, check this out. Cruising the lake on a paddle boat.... here's a picture of it.
