Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale Wear Matching Pants: Cute or Hideous?

When it comes to fashion, Vanessa Hudgens clearly takes a cue from her "High School Musical" pal Ashley Tisdale. But this might not be such a good idea. Hudgens was seen in Studio City, Calif., with Tisdale and boyfriend Austin Butler wearing the same low-slung, see-through, crocheted-looking (or possibly lace) bell-bottomed pants Tisdale wore two months ago, The Daily Mail reports.

The leggings aren't exactly flattering on either actress, but they do look a bit more current on Tisdale, who accessorized with open-toed shoes and a designer purse. Hudgens just looks like she got lost on her way home from Woodstock.

Hudgens turned 23 earlier this month. This year, she’ll star in "Gimme Shelter," a movie about a pregnant teen whose family shuns her, leaving her homeless, MTV reports. She will also start filming "Spring Breakers," playing a college student on vacation who ends up in jail along with James Franco, Selena Gomez and Emma Roberts.

On the personal front, she's been seen partaking in some serious PDA with new her new boyfriend. We still kind of miss Zac Efron though -- maybe he could have talked her out of wearing these pants. Do you like her boho, hippie-chic style? Or does she need to update her look ASAP?

    I love the black pants. The tan ones look like oversized, torn stockings lol. But they both don't know how to wear them, which is completely obvious... If you're going to wear pants like them, you should simplify everything else. Not go for the bag lady look. And who cares if they are "matching". Ever read that magazine called Us??? They show photos of so many actresses who wear the EXACT clothes of another actress. And these aren't even the same color. So get over it. I'd wear them if I had the body. Just in a better fashion sense. Lol...

    Idk, I kiiinda like them. They're not amazing but they're not hideous. She's a pretty girl. She isn't gonna look hideous in any kind of semi-see-through, tight pants.

    I do like them better in black though.

    Those pants remind me of a grammas doilies for tables not pants. yuck.

    But the idea of matching pants isnt half as bad as matching tops.
