I don't like the word "never" but he didn't say that. He just pointed to the statistical facts, just like many do about black crime. It's just when the statistics, like serial killers, things like that, go on the side of what white people do, it's never mentioned in terms of race.

Blacks are still being lynched by the system in disproportionate numbers. I remember in '93 reading an article in the NY Times about the death penalty in Philadelphia where it was found that there was a significantly higher portion of black men (than any other race) receiving the death sentence who were either found innocent later or the evidence didn't stack up to prove they were guilty. This is not to say it doesn't happen to white people too. That's why we need to talk about these issues. I see nothing wrong with getting it out in the open.

Hello, Ken. I don't agree with Dennis (who is simply paranoid) or All American Boy (who is just plain ignorant), but I always have to ask where both the views come from.

I would say Dennis latches onto the racism of past days to call this society racist, but if you consider the statement you will realise that while some people may be racist, the society as a whole is not racist as it does not support racism. The same goes for sexism, too.

I would say All American Boy is constantly exposed to the idiots who throw the race card around and create problems where there is no justification for such an action. This happens constantly. Take the feminist group, for example. They are constantly professing how hard done by (while ignoring the sexism of males) in small areas that they gain this unpopular name for themselves. Thus, when a larger and more serious issue comes to light, the public are adverse to it.

People, like Dennis, breed people like All American Boy and that is all it boils down to, if you ask me. Express your views as you will, but be aware of the consequences at the very least.
