ok that's all. for today. lol
The only "positive" thing we're #1 in anymore is military power - if you can call that a positive.
Also #1 in arrogance and nationalistic pride, but I don't really consider those good things either.
With this money, and power they have they have been able to change this country's social foot print. As you see we are #1 in crimes and prisoners. You can reason that, because of the proliferation of guns, that the right wing has decimated gun control. Co2 emissions the deregulation of clean air. Teen birth rate, because of laws passed by right wing legislatures to have absence only, instead of sex education. We've got to take back our country from the right wing power structure, and their sugar daddies the wealthy and large corporations.
However, we are not number one in looking after our own people:
No universal health care. We seem to believe that our health and the health of our children should be marketable commodities on Wall Street, and if a profit cannot be made, the individual should be tossed out to live or die on his/her own. The god, Profit, is all powerful in America.
We have a strong Republican Party, steeped in neoconic Straussian/Rand political philosophies, bent on destroying support to the middle class, the poor, the sick and the elderly. They ignore the fact that we should be about clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, comforting the sick and healing where possible.
We have a Republican Party who's number one priority is POWER at any cost to the American worker--"My number one priority is to limit Obama to a single term." The strategy is to fight against an economic recovery and keep the jobless rate high so the President will look bad to the misinformed/low information public.

We have a conservative propaganda network and supporting organizations fostering hatred thorough misinformation and disinformation.
We have the Republicans who are bent on preventing the poor, aged, people of color, and democrats in general from voting.
We have a Republican Party bent on making women wards of the state. If a woman is raped or a victim of incest and does not want to bear the child, the Republicans want to rape her again with a vaginal probe--you know, the party that claims to hate government intrusion!
We are quick to make war on other nations. We torture innocent to make them say what we want to hear, so the wars will continue, and the Military Industrial Complex will continue to be well fed by the taxpayer--even to the point of awarding their friends in the MIC to build weapon systems the military does not want or need.
We've turned our government over to Wall Street, and are no longer a government of, for, and by the people.
The Republicans are fighting to turn the Social Safety Net over to Wall Street, to enrich them further.
There is much more, but that is enough for now.
