Two people called me ugly today. Have you ever been called ugly?

I get called ugly and unattractive all the time.

Not to my face at least! People have said my nose was funny though, but besides that no. I think you are pretty btw, don't listen to those people!

Not exactly, but when I was a child my friend mocked me for having buck teeth (I don't anymore) and also for my hair and some kids because I have dark hair so it looked like I had a moustache. But I haven't been called 'ugly' per se. -By far- the most common comment on my appearance is that I have 'lovely hair' and questions on whether the curls are natural.

In jest. Never seriously. And if anyone has done so behind my back, then oh well. I know I'm not, lol.

I think you're very attractive, but too many insecure people build their self-esteem on the backs of others. Fortunately those of us who have been called "ugly" know that "God don't make ugly." The two people who called you "ugly" are probably going straight to hell.

Yup, I've been called all sorts of things before. Just words... They don't define people. Repetitive actions define people.

I definitely have. I think everybody is insecure at times. You have to grow from and become stronger. Throw sarcasm back. You can always say what you feel. Just be confident in you and you can do ANYTHING

Yes, and it hurt a lot. But when someone says something negative about me, it tells me more about them than it does about me.

Not a lot of people have actually said the words, "You're ugly,", but I get quite a lot of stares in public. That may be because of my unusual dressing style and blue hair, but I don't think I'm attractive, so I think that's a large factor.

I was heavy as young. When I was 13 I was in line to a freak show at the local exhibit. Two boys behind me started snickering and one said, very stage whispery, "We don't have to see the fat lady. She is right here." I never forgot the embarrassment and how awful I felt. It definitely did me damage.

Don't listen to the negativity. Be happy with yourself and that will all will always matter.

But I've never been called pretty either, from anyone other than my mom -_- which we all know doesn't count :D so yeah. o.O

When I was younger with thick glasses and bad hair. I just want to tell you that those people are jerks and they are jealous of you. You have some things that they envy you are probably prettier and smarter than them. They feel that in order to make themselves feel better they should pick on people they secretly admire. Kids in high school can be so mean when you get older you have to live with your flaws. I'm sure as you get into adulthood you will feel more secure about yourself. Be around your friends and family that love you and respect as a valuable person.Love who you are be glad that you are beautiful inside and out. I wish someone that I didn't know would have told me that.

It was only once and considering how insecure I was at the time (much more so than I am right now) it could have been really detrimental to me, but somehow it wasn't. I was more detrimental to myself than that one person's remark was. I still remember it but it never stung because I never cared what that person thought to begin with, anyway.

But only by really ugly people. Pay them no mind and continue to be yourself. Karma will take care of them...

I can assure you that your not ugly (if that pic is you), in fact I would go so far to say that you are gorgeous (sorry if that's strange lol). Your still really young, those people are just immature and they were probably just jealous that they weren't you.
