Two Headed Baby Born In Philippines!

A two-headed baby was born in the Philipines! This phenomenom is extremely rare. The baby girl named "Baby Girl Arciaga" was born with two heads, two spines, two brains, and two hearts, all in one cavity. The rest of the body, like lungs, kidneys, ect, are all shared.

This condition is called "Dicephaly Monozygotic Conjoined Birth." This rare condition only occurs in aboout 1 in 80,000 live births. It's not impossible for the baby to survive, but the life expectantcy in unknown thus far. The two-headed baby will be kept under observation for a while.

Search for Hensel twins in Minnesota. I've seen their documentary from TLC. They even have their driving exam filmed. Just awesome.

I can only hope the best for these newborn beautiful babies.

They are two girls who happen to share one body, not a two headed baby. Two seperate people with one body.

Alright now I only have one question to ask and that is how the hell could this happen I know that it's a rare case, but how can two people be born with only one body. I know that people have like a place on there body shares with there twin, but nothing like this.

WHEN THEY WERE CELLS DEVELOPING AFTER FERTILIZATION THEY WERE MEANT TO BE IDENTICAL TWINS AND SOMETHING WENT WRONG WHEN THE CELL WAS TRYING TO SEPERATE INTO 2 DIFFERENT CELLS AND THE BABIES GREW TOGETHER AS ONE BABY! THEY JUST DIDNT SEPERATE AS MUCH AS OTHER CONJOINED TWINS HAVE AND MORE OF THEM IS CONNECTED MAKING IT LOOK LIKE A 2 HEADED BABY, BUT THEY HAVE DIFFERENT BRAINS AND HEARTS AND THEY WILL THINK AS SEPERATE PEOPLE AND BE DIFFERENT PEOPLE!

Since so many "wrote" about it, I have never heard of the Hensel twins, I checked out some links on Google, they are very well adjusted girls....but do these babies stand a chance? Good luck to them on their unusual journey through life.

Say all the niceties you want, this is a lifetime commitment BY OTHERS to care and support this "child". Yep, I realize it is a "freak of nature", but as the theory of evolution will show, it is only a matter of survival of the fittest. Yes, I did see the TLC program of the Hensel twins in Minnesota and it will take much more than their local family to survive in the Phillipines. Sorry to be "the devil's advocate" here, but let's face the realities involved here and I feel they are not good. Please save your comments about what a terrible person I am. If you feel so strongly, why not take the care and commitment yourselves toward this "child"? Not my cup of tea, thanks! Have at it yourselves.

I THINK THEY WILL DO FINE THEY WILL PROBABLY BE ABLE TO WALK TOGETHER AND GROW LIKE ANY OTHER BABY THEY WILL JUST THINK DIFFERENT THOUGHTS AND STUFF! MAYBE EVEN ALOT EASIER THAN 2 SEPERATE BODIES, U GET 2 BABIES IN ONE!

Curious to find out how it moves, does one head move the whole body? Is it shared 50/50? Or like certain parts controlled by certain heads?
