During the
first six month of 2012, the Windy City has suffered 228 homicides. It has stiff
laws against gun ownership. This has disarmed law-abiding citizens, leaving them
at the mercy of flash mobs and gangs. Nationally, crime rates are dropping. But
not in Chicago, where the city offers a $100 gift certificate to anyone

The city has targeted (I could not resist)

“people come out that have weapons lying around the house, or weapons, maybe, that they don’t necessarily want in their house. This is a chance to get some money for their weapon, and get another dangerous weapon on the street.”

So, the city’s strategy is to make people safer by disarming them. This is the standard gun-control strategy.

Most of the crap they get are broken, and junk,., What Idiot would give up a 500-600 dollar gun for 100 bucks??????

Just more anti gun propaganda,.,., "Golly Gee! we got a couple hundred broken guns off the street"..... LMAO

There was a time I would have felt differentnt, but if you have a firearm, learn to shoot it. Be sud=re your whole family learns and has the safety code ingrained in the brain. That 100 dollars is nothing compared to your safety. Yopu canno longer depend on ploice to save you. It;'s now a job of they get there 5 minutes after you are dead.
Your choice though. A cheap no name gun is Ok to dump, but Colt, Smith&Wesson;, or Rugger I can gurntee will not be ending up in the crusher if you take the money and run

Sorry, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP MY WEAPONS. What REALLY pisses me off about these Liberal idiots, is they don't bother to provide the public with STATISTICS - for instance - how many of these homicides were due to DRUGS, or GANGS, and WHO were the "victims"?? WERE these people really victims, or were they doing something they shouldn't be involved in?? WHO exactly are these idiots protecting by removing guns? Certainly not "Joe Average citizen", that's for sure.
